Common questions
Is there really no card needed for the free trial?
Correct. Try Practiva for 14 days without entering any payment details. If you choose to continue, you add a card before the trial ends; if not, your account simply pauses.
Do I need to be BACP registered to use Practiva?
You need to hold a valid registration with a recognised UK body — BACP, NCPS, UKCP, BPC, BABCP, or HCPC counselling/psychotherapy. Practiva is built for qualified therapists in independent practice.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your dashboard with one click — no phone calls, no awkward emails. Your subscription stops at the end of your current billing period.
Is online booking included?
Online booking is included from the Practitioner plan onwards. We’re rolling it out shortly — early customers will get it added to their plan automatically when it’s live.
Can I move my existing website to Practiva?
Yes. Share the link to your current site during sign-up and we’ll pull across what we can — your bio, services, fees, and any photos you want to keep.
What happens to my data if I leave?
You can export your client list, session notes, and documents at any time. After cancellation we keep your data for 30 days in case you change your mind, then it’s permanently deleted.
Will my clients’ data be secure?
Yes. Everything is encrypted at rest and in transit. We’re a UK-registered data controller and follow GDPR for all client information. See our privacy policy for details.
